In our studio, we were tasked with designing a destination for a new ferry line in Malmö. The goal was to experiment with creating a place accessible year-round, connecting to the site’s history, current use and future plans.
Saltkajen is a new visitor destination in Nyhamnen, Malmö, located close to the water and designed to be accessible all year round—for both summer lovers and winter enthusiasts. Here, visitors can enjoy a drink, dine at the well-known lunch restaurant, Saltimporten or swim and sauna!
